Christmas Party Menu 2011


Lunch 2 courses £13.95; 3 courses £16.95 Dinner 2 courses £16.95; 3 courses £19.95 All meals include complimentary coffee and mince pies The Christmas Party menu is available from 23rd November until 24th December. Parties must be booked in advance and a pre-order is necessary.

smoked haddock fishcakes with homemade tartare sauce roast winter vegetable soup with vegetable crisps deep fried brie with red wine and onion relish smoked mackerel pate with cream, lemon and horseradish served with warm pitta bread prawn, avocado and orange salad with marie rose sauce

Main Course

roast turkey with sausage, bacon and cranberry stuffing, roast potatoes and garden vegetables derbyshire beef slow cooked in staffordshire beer and caramelised onions with horseradish mashed potatoes and garden vegetables char-grilled pork loin steak with mushroom, cream, tarragon and white wine sauce, leek mashed potatoes and garden vegetables char-grilled salmon fillet with tomato and red onion dressing, new potatoes and spring greens char-grilled fillet steak with roast tomatoes, chips and salad (£6.00 supplement) stuffed field mushrooms with red peppers, pine nuts and melted mozzarella with new potatoes and tomato and avocado salad

Dessert

traditional christmas pudding with brandy sauce and double cream sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce warm bakewell tart with ice cream bramley apple and pecan crumble with custard chocolate pot and caramelised oranges in brandy
